An FBI agent gets the wrong man sentenced to the electric chair for a series of violent murders. His mistake is drawn to his attention, but he refuses to undo the wrong.

The town of Eden is run by a corrupt mayor and his cronies in law enforcement. They have been planting drugs in innocent tourists' vehicles so that they can impound and then sell them for profit. After the sherrif ends up shooting a man during an unsuccessful attempt to plant drugs in his boat, K.C. draws Mr. Chapel's attention to the situation.

#4 Bitter End: Aired Thursday, October 15, 1998

A woman gets a murderer convited by her eye-witness testimony. He stalks her from jail, and when he is released on an appeal Mr. Chapel knows that she needs protection. Mr. Chapel finds himself being stalked as well, and K.C. realizes that Mr. Chapel takes the situation personally. The unsuspecting client falls for Mr. Chapel even though her brother ends up getting killed by the murderer.
